YOGAS AS PER VEDIC ASTROLOGY

PARIVARTANA YOGA

Parivartan Yoga or mutual exchange yoga is formed, when lords of two houses exchange their  position, placed in each other’s houses, both the planets gain their mutual strength. Due to mutual exchange, energy is enhanced, makes both the houses stronger and more powerful, Parivartan Yoga/ mutual exchange Yoga is created.

Kinds of Parivartana Yoga

Parivartana Yoga may be divided into three main kinds, based on houses involved in mutual exchange.
Maha Yoga, Kahala Yoga, Dainya Yoga

MAHA PARIVARTANA YOGA

Maha Yoga is created when both the interchanged sign lords(ruling planets) belong to only auspicious houses, i.e., mutual exchange is between any two sign lords of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th 7th, 9th, 10th or 11th house from ascendant

KAHALA YOGA
This yoga occurs when one planet is the lord of 3rd house while other is the lord of any other house except the 6, 8 or 12th house otherwise then we will have dainya yoga.

Example: If Taurus is on the ascendant, the Moon is lord of the third house and Saturn lord of the ninth and tenth houses. Suppose the Moon is in Capricorn and Saturn in Cancer. Then we have a kahala yoga.

DAINYA YOGA
This yoga occurs when one of the planets participating in the yoga is lord of the sixth, eighth or twelfth house

Example: When Sagittarius is on the ascendant, the Moon is lord of the eighth house and the Sun is lord of the ninth house. Should the Moon be in Leo and the Sun in Cancer, then we have a dainya parivartana yoga
